Cancellation and Refund Policy for Smart Prefetch

This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for managing your subscription and requesting refunds for the Smart Prefetch SaaS product, owned and operated by Buggu Labs. By subscribing to or using Smart Prefetch, you agree to comply with this policy and our Terms of Service.

Important Note Regarding Third-Party Purchases:

This Refund Policy is only applicable to purchases made directly from the Smart Prefetch website (smartprefetch.link).

For purchases made through third-party platforms, such as the Shopify App Store or other deal/marketplace platforms, any cancellation or refund requests must be handled exclusively through the respective platform’s channels and policies. Buggu Labs cannot process refunds for transactions that were not directly processed on our website. Please refer to the cancellation and refund policies of the platform where your purchase was made.

1. Subscription Plans

Smart Prefetch offers various subscription plans, including recurring monthly and yearly options, as well as a Free Tier for lifetime free access with limited usage. The cancellation and refund rules outlined in this policy apply uniformly across all paid plans purchased directly from our website.

2. Cancellation of Your Subscription

You can cancel your Smart Prefetch subscription at any time.

How to Cancel:

  • Via Dashboard: The easiest way to cancel is directly through your Smart Prefetch dashboard settings. Look for a “Subscription,” “Billing,” or “Manage Plan” section, where you will find an option to cancel your subscription.
  • Contact Support: Alternatively, you can contact our support team through our Contact Us page to request a cancellation. Please provide your website URL and details of your last payment/invoice to expedite the process.

Effect of Cancellation:

  • Upon cancellation, your paid subscription will be downgraded to our Free Tier.
  • You will retain access to your paid plan’s features until the end of your current paid billing cycle (monthly or yearly). No further charges will be applied from that point forward.

3. Refund Policy

Buggu Labs offers a “no questions asked” refund policy under specific conditions for purchases made directly from our website. Our goal is your satisfaction with Smart Prefetch.

Refund Eligibility Conditions:

  • Your refund request must be submitted within 14 days of the original transaction date. Requests received after this 14-day period will not be entertained.
  • This refund policy is applicable only to your first-time subscription to a paid Smart Prefetch plan. Customers who have previously received a refund for any Smart Prefetch subscription are not eligible for further refunds.
  • Refunds apply to both monthly and yearly recurring plans, provided the above conditions are met.

Non-Refundable Circumstances:

Refund requests will not be entertained under the following conditions:

  • If your request is sent later than 14 days since the date of the transaction.
  • If you have previously received a refund for any Smart Prefetch subscription.
  • For purchases made through third-party platforms (e.g., Shopify App Store, deal platforms).

Refund Processing:

  1. Request Initiation: You can initiate a refund request by contacting our support team through our Contact Us page with your website URL and the details of your last payment/invoice.
  2. Processing Time: It may take up to 48 hours for Buggu Labs to initiate the refund process after receiving your eligible request.
  3. Credit Reflection: Once the refund is processed by Buggu Labs, it may take an additional 5-7 business days for the credit to reflect in your bank statement or original payment method, depending on your financial institution.
  4. Important Note for Next Billing Cycle: To ensure you are not charged for the upcoming billing cycle if you intend to cancel and seek a refund, we highly recommend contacting our support team through the Contact Us page at least 48 hours before your next invoice is due. While we process cancellations promptly, this timeframe allows for any potential processing delays.
  5. Refund Method: Refunds can only be sent back to the original payment method used for the transaction. We cannot issue refunds to a different destination, such as another card or bank account.

4. Downgrades and Upgrades

  • Downgrades: If you choose to downgrade your Smart Prefetch subscription, the change will take effect immediately. Any prorated amount from your existing higher-tier subscription will be adjusted and applied as a credit towards your following invoices.
  • Upgrades: If you upgrade your Smart Prefetch subscription, the change will take effect immediately. The value of your current subscription will be prorated and adjusted as a credit towards the cost of your new, higher-tier plan on your next invoice.

5. Account Termination by Buggu Labs

Buggu Labs reserves the right to terminate your Smart Prefetch account under certain circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Breach of our Terms of Service.
  • Non-payment of subscription fees.
  • Misuse or abusive usage of the Smart Prefetch service.

In the event that Buggu Labs terminates your account due to your breach of our Terms of Service or any misconduct/abusive usage, no refund will be provided for any unused portion of your subscription.
